Once again this year the ball has a Moulin Rouge Theme.
Please feel free to come dressed appropriately if you wish, but otherwise, please just come and enjoy the dancing. Back by popular demand DJ Leroy Tango Cat will be providing his usual exciting mix of music.

We are incredibly lucky to have David and Kim return to dance for us at the Ball this year. David Benitez of Tango Por Dos and his partner, Kim Schwartz are
not only sensational performers, but are also one of the UK's most popular teaching couples. Their love of tango and of teaching is evident in every class that they give. They are unique in their focus on technique from both the male and female perspective and for the individual attention they offer to each and every one of their students. They dance with elegance, precision and a natural chemistry.
This year, those attending the Tango Cheltenham Ball will be able to once again see first hand two performers about whom such reviews as these have been written.

Friday Night Special
Excitingly, Leroy has agreed to do an All Levels Workshop (theme to be decided) on Friday night at our usual milonga venue, The Bayshill Unitarian Church.
Time: 7.30 - 9.00pm followed by social dancing until midnight.
Cost: £8 on the door or £4 for just the social dancing - no booking necessary.
Leroy All Levels Workshop - Theme to be decided - Saturday
Leroy has also agreed to run a workshop on the day of the ball.
Time: 12.00 noon - 1.30 pm
Cost: £8 in advance
There will be spaces for a maximum of 15 couples with a minimum level of experience of 6 months dancing.
Workshop with David and Kim - Traditional Salon Tango with Adornments - Saturday
To complete the exciting set of workshops, we have a workshop with David Benitez and Kim Schwartz on the day of the ball.
Time: 2.00 pm - 4.15 pm with a short break
Cost: £15 in advance.
There will be spaces for a maximum number of 15 couples with more than 18 months regular tuition and dancing experience.
No partner is necessary for any of the workshops, but we will be trying to keep numbers balanced when we accept bookings.
